Save AU$224.95 PS5 Pro: was AU$1,199.95 now AU$975 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼You can fight until you're blue in the face whether PS5 Pro is worth it or not, but this price is the cheapest we've seen so far. As our PS5 Pro review points out: "The PS5 Pro only suits its price tag in niche circumstances, but it does deliver on its promise to improve both graphics and framerates."

Save 43% (AU$380.95)PlayStation VR 2 (PSVR 2): was AU$879.95 now AU$499 at JB Hi-FiRead moreRead less▼If you've been reluctant to fork out nearly a grand for a brilliant-albeit-patchily supported peripheral, now is the time to bite. If you've already got a PS5 in the house, this is probably the best way to game in VR.

Save 30% (AU$35.95) DualSense Wireless controller: was AU$119.95 now AU$84 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Savings on the PS5 DualSense controller are exceedingly rare nowadays, which is especially annoying since they're very prone to stick drift and trigger button problems. So: stock up! Stock is a bit patchy and we've seen prices as low as AU$78.99, but most other in-stock colours will set you back AU$85 (if they're on sale).

Save 27% (AU$90.95)PlayStation DualSense Edge PS5 controller: was AU$339.95 now AU$249 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Sony's brilliant yet exorbitantly priced premium DualSense is a fine piece of kit, and this discount - albeit no record breaker - makes it ever more tempting. It has replaceable analog sticks, four back "paddle" buttons, changeable stick caps and a bunch of other lavish features that you'll regret not having once you've held one of these in hand.

Save 13% (AU$41.95)PlayStation Portal: was AU$329.95 now AU$288 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼A good time to grab the PS Portal if you want one. It's an excellent Remote Play handheld with DualSense functionality, which makes up for the fact that you could otherwise just use a cheaper controller attached to your phone. If you want one, you want one.

Save 40% (AU$131.95)Sony PULSE Explore Wireless Earbuds for PS5 (black): was AU$329.95 now AU$198 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼You don't hear much about these wireless buds made especially by Sony for PS5, but they exist, and our colleagues over at Techradar thought they were good. They're almost perfect for the PlayStation Portal, and can double as your commuting 'phones if you fancy the PlayStation branding. They feature multi-device connectivity, integrated mics (for both gaming and phone convos) and AI-enhanced "noise rejection".

Save 59% (AU$41) Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon: was AU$69 now AU$28 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Knowing they're onto a good thing, Bandai Namco rarely offer up steep discounts on FromSoftware games. Which makes this deal on Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon well worth taking note of if you've been hungering for a mech brawler. I adored this game and so did all the critics.

Save 37% (AU$40.95) Battlefield 6: was AU$109.95 now AU$69 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Widely considered a return to form, Battlefield 6 reviewed very well when it launched last month. Now, just weeks later, many major retailers are offering a huge discount on the RRP of AU$109.95. Whether you're keen to jump in on the multiplayer action, or are just curious about the campaign, this is a significant discount for a game that only released recently, even though it was cheaper at AU$59 earlier in the week.

Save 59% (AU$70.95) Borderlands 4: was AU$119.95 now AU$49 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Gearbox's newest open world looter shooter gets a tidy discount in the months after launch, despite Randy Pitchford suggesting it wouldn't happen. If you're after a 50+ hour RPG sprawl that you can play with friends, this is well worth it at this price.

Save 24% (AU$20) Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: was AU$84 now AU$64 at JB Hi-FiRead moreRead less▼Arguably this year's greatest RPG, it's been as cheap as AU$59 previously, but I'd argue this is still a good deal at this time of year. Our review bears that out: "an outstanding visionary debut from Sandfall Interactive", Alan Wen wrote. Definitely a good one to have for the summer holidays.

Save 44% (AU$21.95) Dead Space (remake): was AU$49.95 now AU$28 at eBayRead moreRead less▼A bonanza discount on this highly regarded horror remake, which was met with unanimous praise when it released in 2022 (though presumably not enough sales for EA to quickly issue a Dead Space 2 remake).

Save 54% (AU$67.95) Death Stranding 2: On The Beach: was AU$124.95 now AU$57 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼This is the first substantial discount on Kojima's 2025 sci-fi epic. In our 4 star review we wrote that "this tarpunk delivery epic is more Metal Gear Solid than ever, for better and worse", alluding to its more action-centric approach compared to its predecessor. This is exactly the kind of cinematic blockbuster game that works well on muggy summer evenings.

Save 70% (AU$69.95)Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed: was AU$99.95 now AU$30 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Disney Epic Mickey is a brilliant and innovative platformer with a lot of old school Disney charm, and it's the kind of game that makes an easy Christmas gift for PS5 owners young and old.

Save 55% (AU$60.95) FC 26: was AU$109.95 now AU$49 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼This year's soccer sim gets a brilliant discount, once again proving that buying a game on launch day can be a needless strain on one's bank account. Going into the summer holidays, this should be a good one to have around.

Save 56% (AU$50)Final Fantasy XVI: was AU$89 now AU$39 at JB Hi-FiRead moreRead less▼A good price on this epic ye olde fantasy take on the Final Fantasy formula, which we said " stands alongside the series' greats" in our review. It's a big 60+ hour adventure that is incredible value for money at this price, with some of the most bonkers boss fights this side of Asura's Wrath.

Save 51% (AU$50) Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: was AU$99 now AU$49 at JB Hi-FiRead moreRead less▼A substantial discount on what could be the best RPG of 2025 (don't read this, Clair Obscur). If you love your RPGs unforgiving and almost-sim-like in their dedication to reality, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is absolutely essential. It's also one of the most gorgeous games on PS5.

Save 69% (AU$75.95) Lost Soul Aside: was AU$109.95 now AU$34 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Lost Soul Aside only released in August, so this is a remarkable discount. It's an action RPG with some decent qualities, though our review isn't especially glowing. "With a transforming multi-weapon that's also a dragon, combo possibilities can be really fun to explore, but you often don't have enough reason to do so."

Save 46% (AU$40.95) Mafia The Old Country: was AU$89.95 now AU$49 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼If you're after a gorgeous crime drama set in early 20th century Italy, you could do much worse than Mafia The Old Country. This one's also good if you're over the trappings of modern blockbuster open world games: sure, there's a big ol' map, but this one keeps things very story focused.

Save 34% (AU$15) Monster Hunter Wilds: was AU$44 now AU$29 at JB Hi-FiRead moreRead less▼Although the ticket price on this is AU$44 now, it was at least AU$89 upon release back in March, so AU$29 is pretty extraordinarily cheap for a 2025 title. Sure, it's proven divisive, but if you're a fan of the series or have a crew who want to stab a bunch of monsters to death in a pretty open world, it's a good time.

Save 54% (AU$26.95) Red Dead Redemption 2: was AU$49.95 now AU$23 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼It may be a PS4 game but Red Dead Redemption 2 still looks beautiful, even though it hasn't been updated to take advantage of the PS5 (not to mention the PS5 Pro). This is one of the most lavish videogame productions to date, with an epic 40+ hour narrative and a story that can rival the great westerns.

Save 25% (AU$30) Silent Hill f: was AU$119 now AU$89 at JB Hi-FiRead moreRead less▼The season's biggest horror gets a welcome discount, making it the perfect gift for your fave scare enthusiast, or a nice quiet pre-Christmas treat for yourself. Our review was glowing, writing that its the series' "most unsettling atmosphere and writing to date" though some people might not love the melee combat.

Save 37% (AU$40.95) Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds: was AU$109.95 now AU$69 at JB Hi-FiRead moreRead less▼While Mario's new kart racer got all the attention in 2025, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds was a quiet achiever: it reviewed very well, with our own Justin Towell writing that it "has the mileage to be a karting favorite". If you've got family visiting for the forthcoming holiday period, this would also make a great way to entertain.

Save 48% (AU$45.95) Spider-Man: Miles Morales: was AU$94.95 now AU$49 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼This standalone expansion for the original Spider-Man was a PS5 launch title, but it still looks brilliant, and at this price is well worth a look. If you're after the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition—which packs in the whole original Spider-Man game—that's currently sold out.

Save 43% (AU$42.95) Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2: was AU$99.95 now AU$57 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Bloodlines 2 has been divisive, and our review was unambiguously on the negative side. Still, among people who've waited so long for this sequel, there will be a desire to play it anyway, and this is about the best price we've seen for the modern vampire RPG. We called it "a boring, linear action brawler" but maybe you will call it a "masterpiece"? (Doubtful, but let's see.)

Save 49% (AU$222.15)Logitech G PRO X 2 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset: was AU$449.95 now AU$227.80 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼This offer gets you a respected high-level headset which we praised for its good battery life, decent audience and comfort. In our 72/100 review we criticised its price and "unspectacular" mic, but perhaps those shortcomings are a little easier to bear with this price cut—although note that it's more than 8% off as Amazon's list price is its previous discounted price.

Save 29% (AU$81)Corsair HS80 Max Wireless Gaming Headset: was AU$279 now AU$198 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼The Corsair HS80 Max Wireless Gaming Headset offers low-latency 2.4Ghz wireless audio and Bluetooth connectivity, along with high-fidelity 24bit/96kHz sound and support for Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio. We saw them for AU$149 last year, but it's not been anywhere as cheap in 2025.
